1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to merchant processing.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Conduct monthly reconciliations of merchant accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.
5. Monitor and analyze merchant processing revenue and expenses, identifying any variances and providing explanations.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of merchant transactions.
7. Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries and accruals.
8. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities related to merchant processing.

11. Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
12. Train and mentor junior team members as needed.
