  1. Lead the development and implementation of DevOps practices within the company.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance technology infrastructure and drive innovation.
  3. Utilize the latest technologies to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  4. Create and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and procedures.
  5. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize the company's DevOps practices.
  6. Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  8. Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Lead continuous integration and continuous delivery efforts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates and recommendations.
  13. Ensure compliance with company security and data protection policies.
  14. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  15. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new team members.
  16. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to other teams within the company on DevOps best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Devops Methodologies And Tools: A Lead Devops Engineer At First Data-Fiserv Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices, As Well As Hands-On Experience With A Variety Of Devops Tools Such As Git, Jenkins, Docker, And Kubernetes.

  • Strong Coding And Scripting Skills: As A Lead Devops Engineer, The Ability To Write Efficient And Reliable Code Is Crucial. Candidates Should Have Experience With Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, And Ruby, As Well As Proficiency In Writing Scripts For Automation.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Computing: First Data-Fiserv Is A Cloud-Based Company, So A Lead Devops Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cloud Computing Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud. Experience With Infrastructure As Code Tools Like Terraform And Cloudformation Is Also Desirable.

  • Project Management Skills: The Lead Devops Engineer Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Coordinating Multiple Projects, So Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Timelines, And Communicate Effectively With Team Members And Stakeholders.
