
Cybersecurity Network Governance (CNG) Engineer

- Develop and implement comprehensive network security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive information and minimize cyber threats.
- Monitor network systems for vulnerabilities and proactively identify potential risks.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures for new and existing network infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats and security technologies to continuously improve network security.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, identifying the root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain network security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate security risks and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure network security is maintained in all scenarios.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of external network connections.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and logs to detect and respond to any suspicious activity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams on network security-related issues.
- Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and incident response plans.
- Continuously review and improve network security processes and procedures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Network Security, Governance, And Compliance.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Cybersecurity, Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Pci Dss.
Strong Understanding Of Network Infrastructure And Protocols, Including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, And Vpns.
Certifications In Relevant Areas, Such As Ccnp Security, Cissp, Or Cisa, Are Preferred.
