In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.   1. Design and implement Citrix infrastructure solutions to meet the organization's business needs.
  2. Maintain and troubleshoot existing Citrix infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Citrix best practices and standards.
  4. Continuously monitor and evaluate the Citrix environment to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  5. Respond to and resolve technical issues related to the Citrix infrastructure.
  6. Conduct regular performance testing and tuning to optimize system performance.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation for the Citrix infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
  8. Stay updated on the latest Citrix technologies and make recommendations for their integration into the organization's infrastructure.
  9. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Citrix infrastructure with other systems and applications.
  10. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and end-users.
  11. Adhere to security and compliance guidelines in all aspects of Citrix infrastructure management.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
  13. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve technical issues and implement upgrades.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Citrix infrastructure.
  15. Continuously improve processes and procedures related to Citrix infrastructure management.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Citrix Virtualization Technology: A Citrix Engineer At First Data Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of All Aspects Of Citrix Virtualization Technology, Including Xenapp, Xendesktop, And Xenserver. They Should Be Able To Design, Implement, And Troubleshoot Complex Citrix Environments.

  • Experience With Cloud-Based Citrix Deployments: With The Growing Trend Of Cloud-Based Computing, A Citrix Engineer At First Data Should Have Experience In Deploying And Managing Citrix Solutions In A Cloud Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Cloud Platforms Such As Microsoft Azure Or Amazon Web Services.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Automation: Automation Is A Crucial Aspect Of Managing Citrix Environments, And A Citrix Engineer Should Have Experience With Scripting Languages Such As Powershell To Automate Routine Tasks And Streamline Processes.

  • Strong Networking And Security Skills: A Citrix Engineer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Networking Concepts, Including Tcp/Ip, Dns, And Dhcp. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing Security Measures Such As Firewalls, Ssl Certificates, And Access Controls To Ensure The Security Of The Citrix Environment.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: As A Citrix Engineer, One Must Be Able To Quickly Identify And Resolve Complex Technical Issues. They Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset, Be Able To Troubleshoot Problems Systematically, And Have A Proactive Approach To Prevent Future Issues.
