- Manage and maintain the AIX infrastructure for First Data, ensuring maximum availability and performance for clients.
- Utilize strong technical skills in AIX administration to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures for AIX infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute upgrades and enhancements to the AIX infrastructure.
- Ensure proper documentation and configuration management of AIX infrastructure.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AIX technology to make recommendations for improvement.

Extensive Experience With Aix Operating System: The Aix Infrastructure Engineer At First Data Must Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Aix Operating System, Including Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting, And Maintenance.
Knowledge Of Ibm Power Hardware: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ibm Power Hardware, Including Server Architecture, Storage, And Networking Components.
Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: First Data Values Candidates Who Have Strong Scripting Skills, Especially In Shell And Perl, And Are Familiar With Automation Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef.
Experience With Virtualization Technologies: Aix Infrastructure Engineer Should Have Experience With Virtualization Technologies Like Powervm, Kvm, And Vmware, And Be Able To Design, Deploy, And Manage Virtualized Environments.
