
Title Officer - Commercial
Welcome to First American, a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Title Officer to join our Commercial team. As a Title Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of real estate transactions for our commercial clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong understanding of title insurance and commercial real estate laws. - Review and analyze commercial real estate documents, including titles, deeds, and surveys, to identify any potential issues or discrepancies
- Conduct thorough research and examination of property records to determine ownership, liens, and encumbrances
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive title reports for commercial properties
- Collaborate with underwriters to resolve any title issues and provide necessary documentation for title insurance policies
- Communicate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely closing process
- Stay up-to-date on current laws and regulations related to title insurance and commercial real estate transactions
- Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy in all transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues
- Work closely with other team members, including escrow officers and processors, to coordinate and complete all necessary tasks for successful transactions
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills in the title industry.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Real Estate, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Title Insurance Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Commercial Real Estate Transactions And Legal Documents.
Proficient In Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Office And Title Production Software.
