Extensive Knowledge Of Title Insurance: A Senior Commercial Title Examiner At First American Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Title Insurance Principles, Policies, And Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of State-Specific Regulations And Guidelines.
Experience In Commercial Transactions: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Commercial Title Examination, With A Proven Track Record Of Handling Complex And High-Value Transactions. This Includes Experience With Multi-Site And Multi-State Deals.
Excellent Research And Analytical Skills: As A Senior Commercial Title Examiner, One Must Be Able To Conduct Thorough Research, Analyze Title Documents, And Identify Potential Issues Or Discrepancies. This Requires Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Make Sound Judgments Based On Available Information.
Proficiency In Title Examination Software: First American Uses Advanced Title Examination Software, And The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using It To Complete Title Searches And Generate Reports. Experience With Industry-Specific Software Such As Softpro And Ramquest Is Also Preferred.
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: A Senior Commercial Title Examiner Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal. This Includes The Ability To Negotiate With Clients, Attorneys, And Other Stakeholders During The Title Review And Resolution Process. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Title Issues To Non-Technical Parties.
