  1. Develop and maintain an overall information security strategy for the organization.
  2. Assess and identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
  3. Design and implement security solutions to protect the organization's information assets.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
  5. Lead and coordinate security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes.
  7. Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide proactive recommendations to prevent future incidents.
  8. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  9. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security.
  10. Communicate complex security concepts and risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  11. Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to ensure security measures are in place.
  12. Lead incident response and disaster recovery efforts in case of a security breach.
  13. Mentor and train junior security team members.
  14. Participate in industry conferences and forums to stay abreast of the latest security developments.
  15. Continuously improve security processes and procedures to enhance the organization's security posture.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: A Senior Information Security Architect At First American Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In The Information Security Field, With A Focus On Designing And Implementing Secure Systems And Processes.

  • Strong Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Network Security, Application Security, Cloud Security, And Other Related Technologies. They Should Also Have Experience With Security Frameworks Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Cis.

  • Leadership Abilities: A Senior Information Security Architect Is Expected To Lead A Team Of Security Professionals And Collaborate With Other Departments Within The Organization. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including Communication, Decision-Making, And Project Management, Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance: First American Is A Company That Handles Sensitive Financial And Personal Information. Therefore, The Senior Information Security Architect Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Sox, And Be Able To Ensure Compliance With These Regulations.

  • Continuous Learning: The Field Of Information Security Is Constantly Evolving, And A Senior Information Security Architect Must Be Committed To Staying Updated With The Latest Security Trends, Threats, And Technologies. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Obtaining Relevant Certifications, Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa.
