- Develop and maintain an effective information security program for the company, in line with industry best practices and regulations.
- Monitor and assess the company's information systems and networks for potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Implement security controls and measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for how the company can proactively mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the company's operations, including product development, IT, and human resources.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the information security team, fostering a culture of strong security practices and awareness.
- Develop and deliver training and educational programs to employees on security policies and procedures.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing remediation plans as needed.
- Maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors to stay abreast of new security technologies and solutions.
- Produce regular reports and presentations for senior management on the status of the information security program and any potential risks.
- Advocate for information security throughout the organization and promote a strong security culture.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the company's information security program to adapt to changing threats and business needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on information security matters to senior leadership.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Information Security Analysis, With A Focus On Risk Assessment And Vulnerability Management.
Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards, Laws, And Regulations Related To Information Security, Such As Gdpr, Hipaa, And Iso 27001.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Security Controls, Including Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Encryption Technologies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field. Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Crisc Are Preferred.
