
Senior HRIS Workday Functional Analyst (Remote Possible)

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of First American's HR technology strategy and the role of Workday within it.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday, providing guidance and support to HR and other stakeholders on system capabilities, best practices, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to optimize HR processes and drive system enhancements.
- Lead the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday modules, including but not limited to Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Performance Management.
- Ensure successful and timely delivery of Workday projects, including managing project plans, timelines, and resources.
- Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, providing timely and effective solutions to users.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, procedures, and training materials.
- Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and new features, proactively identifying opportunities for system optimization and process improvements.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure effective integration of Workday with other HR systems and applications.
- Provide training and support to HR and other end-users, promoting self-service and ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and perform system testing to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to system performance and data integrity.
- Uphold data privacy and security standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Foster a customer-focused and collaborative culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of HR technology policies, procedures, and standards.
Extensive Workday Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working With Workday, Including Implementing And Supporting Various Modules Such As Hcm, Payroll, Benefits, And Compensation.
Strong Hris Background: A Senior Hris Workday Functional Analyst Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Hris Principles, Processes, And Best Practices. They Should Be Familiar With Data Management, System Configuration, And Reporting In Hris Platforms.
Technical Proficiency: The Candidate Should Possess Advanced Technical Skills, Including Proficiency In Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, And Eibs. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of Hris Integrations And Data Conversions.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires Someone With Strong Analytical Skills Who Can Think Critically And Troubleshoot Complex Issues. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Identify Problems, Propose Solutions, And Implement Them Effectively.
Team Player And Effective Communicator: As A Senior Member Of The Hris Team, The Candidate Should Be A Team Player Who Can Collaborate And Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
