We are currently seeking a highly motivated Escrow Assistant to join our team and help facilitate smooth and efficient real estate transactions. In this role, you will work closely with our Escrow Officers to provide exceptional customer service and ensure all aspects of the escrow process are handled accurately and in a timely manner.   1. Assist Escrow Officers in facilitating real estate transactions by performing administrative tasks and providing support as needed.
  2. Communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information and documents.
  3. Review and verify all documents and information for accuracy and completeness.
  4. Prepare and maintain escrow files, including organizing and filing documents.
  5. Coordinate with title department to ensure title reports and policies are obtained in a timely manner.
  6. Prepare and distribute closing documents to all parties involved in the transaction.
  7. Calculate and process payments, including recording fees, escrow fees, and commissions.
  8. Keep track of deadlines and ensure all necessary tasks are completed within established timeframes.
  9. Assist with resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the escrow process.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards.
  12. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  13. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures for a more efficient workflow.
  14. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Escrow Officers or management.
  15. Uphold the company's values and represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
