Job Description

Welcome to First American, a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services. We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as the Director of UEBA/Insider Risk. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and shape our User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) program, as well as oversee our Insider Risk management strategy. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader who is passionate about mitigating risk and safeguarding our company's assets.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive UEBA program to monitor and analyze user and entity behaviors within the organization.
  2. Create and maintain policies and procedures for managing insider risk, including identifying potential threats and implementing appropriate security measures.
  3. Lead and manage a team of UEBA and Insider Risk specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of UEBA and Insider Risk strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UEBA and Insider Risk management, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
  7. Monitor and analyze data and metrics to identify patterns and potential risks, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance our UEBA and Insider Risk capabilities.
  9. Oversee incident response plans and ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.
  10. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to promote awareness and understanding of UEBA and Insider Risk management.
  11. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to UEBA and Insider Risk management.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the UEBA program and Insider Risk management strategy.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Ueba/Insider Risk Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Ueba (User And Entity Behavior Analytics) And Insider Risk Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Such Programs In A Corporate Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Best Practices: The Director Of Ueba/Insider Risk Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Relevant Industry Regulations, Such As Gdpr And Hipaa, As Well As Best Practices For Managing Insider Threats And Mitigating Risk.

  • Technical Expertise: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Data Analytics, Machine Learning, And Other Related Technologies, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background And Be Comfortable Working With Data And Implementing Technical Solutions.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Risk Management Certification: A Relevant Certification In Risk Management, Such As Certified Risk Management Professional (Crmp), Would Be Highly Beneficial For This Role. It Demonstrates A Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In Risk Management, Which Is A Critical Aspect Of This Position.
