  1. Conduct thorough and accurate title examinations for commercial real estate transactions.
  2. Verify legal descriptions, ownership information, and any relevant encumbrances and liens.
  3. Analyze and interpret complex legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, and easements.
  4. Identify and report any potential title issues or discrepancies.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any title issues.
  6. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all title examinations.

  8. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to commercial real estate transactions.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to provide updates and address any concerns.
  10. Work efficiently and meet strict deadlines while managing a high volume of title examinations.
  11. Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information according to company policies.
  13. Utilize technology and software programs to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Real Estate Law And Title Examination: A Commercial Title Examiner At First American Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Real Estate Law, Including State-Specific Regulations, As Well As The Ability To Navigate Complex Title Documents.

  • Experience With Commercial Properties: This Role Specifically Requires Experience With Commercial Properties, So The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Background In Examining Titles For Commercial Real Estate Transactions.

  • Excellent Research And Analytical Skills: A Commercial Title Examiner Must Be Able To Thoroughly Research And Analyze Title Documents, Identifying Any Potential Issues Or Discrepancies That Could Affect The Transaction.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: The Accuracy Of Title Examination Is Crucial In Real Estate Transactions, So The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Being Detail-Oriented And Able To Catch Any Errors In Title Documents.
