- Greet and welcome interns to the First American Internship Program
- Provide an overview of the company and the Public Affairs team
- Coordinate and schedule orientation and training sessions for interns
- Assign and oversee individual projects and tasks for interns
- Facilitate communication and networking opportunities between interns and employees
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for interns to learn and grow
- Conduct regular check-ins with interns to ensure their progress and satisfaction
- Provide guidance and support to interns as they navigate their responsibilities
- Encourage interns to actively participate in team meetings and discussions
- Monitor and evaluate intern performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure interns are adhering to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to provide a well-rounded internship experience
- Act as a mentor and resource for interns, offering guidance and advice
- Plan and organize events and opportunities for interns to engage with the community and industry
- Continuously seek ways to enhance the internship program and make it a valuable experience for all participants.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Or A Related Field.
Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With Experience In Public Speaking And Media Relations.
Knowledge Of Current Political And Social Issues, With A Demonstrated Interest In Public Affairs And Advocacy.
Experience In Event Planning And Project Management, With The Ability To Multi-Task And Meet Tight Deadlines.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Social Media Platforms, With The Ability To Create Engaging Content And Analyze Data.
