- Develop and implement enterprise-wide security solutions to protect the organization and its customers against cyber threats.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive security architecture for the organization.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity to ensure the organization's security measures are current and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Lead the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines for the organization.
- Conduct regular training and education programs for employees to raise awareness and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Monitor and investigate security incidents, and develop mitigation strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of security-related products and services.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization regarding security matters.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external security partners and vendors.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the organization's ability to respond to security breaches.
- Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communicate security-related updates and developments to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.
Extensive Experience In Enterprise Security Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Enterprise Security Solutions In A Large Organization. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Best Practices, Standards, And Frameworks Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Togaf.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal Enterprise Security Architect, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Security Professionals And Collaborating With Various Stakeholders Across The Organization. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving Security Goals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Various Security Technologies Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Identity And Access Management Systems, Encryption, And Vulnerability Management Tools. They Should Also Be Able To Evaluate And Select The Most Appropriate Technologies To Meet The Bank's Security Requirements.
Business Acumen: The Principal Enterprise Security Architect Should Possess A Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Align Security Strategies With The Bank's Overall Business Goals. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing Security Budgets, Plans, And Roadmaps That Support The Bank's Strategic Initiatives.
Industry Certifications: The Candidate Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Sans Giac. These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Expertise And Commitment To The Security Field And Are Highly Valued By Fifth Third Bank For This Role.
