In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.   1. Manage all aspects of software asset management, including tracking, monitoring, and reporting on software licenses and usage.
  2. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, including managing renewals and negotiating contracts with vendors.
  3. Develop and implement strategies for optimizing software asset usage and minimizing costs.
  4. Conduct regular audits of software assets to identify any discrepancies or potential areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure software assets are aligned with business needs and objectives.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to software asset management and SaaS licensing models.
  7. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to provide updates on software asset management initiatives and cost-saving opportunities.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to software asset management and work towards resolving them in a timely manner.
  9. Train and educate end-users on software asset management processes and procedures.
  10. Work closely with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of software assets for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  11. Collaborate with external vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for software licenses.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all software assets and related processes.
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software asset management.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and compliance standards.
  15. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Software Licensing Agreements And Compliance Requirements.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Software Asset Management Or Related Role.

  • Experience With Saas Platforms And Tools, Such As Flexera Or Servicenow.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Software Asset Management Issues.
