  1. Ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems: The primary responsibility of a Site Reliability Engineer is to ensure that all critical systems are functioning properly and are available for use at all times. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  2. Perform system maintenance and upgrades: The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and upgrades on systems to ensure they are up to date and functioning at optimal levels.
  3. Identify and resolve system issues: The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for identifying and resolving any system issues that may impact performance or reliability. This may involve working with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  4. Monitor system performance: The Site Reliability Engineer will monitor the performance of critical systems and proactively take action to prevent any potential issues. This includes implementing monitoring tools and developing processes for identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  5. Drive continuous improvement and innovation: The Site Reliability Engineer will constantly seek ways to improve and innovate processes and systems, with the goal of increasing efficiency and reliability.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Site Reliability Engineer will work closely with other teams such as software development, operations, and quality assurance to ensure the smooth functioning of critical systems.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends: It is the responsibility of the Site Reliability Engineer to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously learn and adapt to new tools and processes.
  8. Document processes and procedures: The Site Reliability Engineer will document all processes and procedures related to system maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring a smooth transition for other team members in case of their absence.
  9. Participate in on-call rotation: The Site Reliability Engineer will be part of an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical systems.
  10. Continuously assess and improve system security: The Site Reliability Engineer will continuously assess and improve system security to ensure the protection of sensitive data and information.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Software Development And System Administration.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing And Experience With Public Cloud Platforms Such As Aws Or Azure.

  • Experience With Monitoring And Performance Optimization Of Large-Scale, Distributed Systems.
