  1. Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications and solutions for our organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to best practices and coding standards.
  4. Continuously research and implement new tools and techniques to improve efficiency and performance of Python applications.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Python development.
  6. Mentor and guide junior developers in the team to enhance their Python skills and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Python development and propose innovative solutions to drive technological advancements.
  8. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide regular updates and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  9. Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of Python applications.
  10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
  11. Contribute to the development and maintenance of coding standards and best practices for Python development.
  12. Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively communicate any risks or challenges that may impact project timelines.
  13. Actively participate in team meetings and discussions to share knowledge and ideas for continuous improvement.
  14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security standards while developing Python applications.
  15. Continuously learn and upgrade skills to keep up with the evolving technologies and industry standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Python Programming Language: A Senior Python Developer At Fidelity National Information- Fis Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Python Programming, Including Its Syntax, Libraries, And Frameworks. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Deploying Complex Applications Using Python.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Web Development Technologies: Knowledge Of Web Development Technologies Such As Html, Css, Javascript, And Web Frameworks Like Django And Flask Is Essential For A Senior Python Developer At Fis. They Should Be Able To Develop And Maintain Web Applications Using Python.

  • Experience With Database Management: A Senior Python Developer Should Have Experience Working With Databases, Such As Mysql, Oracle, Or Mongodb. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Database Design, Data Structures, And Sql Queries.

  • Familiarity With Agile Methodologies: Fis Follows Agile Methodologies For Software Development, And A Senior Python Developer Should Be Well-Versed In Agile Principles And Practices. They Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Environment And Adapt To Changing Requirements.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Python Developer Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Troubleshoot And Debug Complex Issues. They Should Be Able To Analyze Requirements And Provide Innovative Solutions To Technical Problems.
