Job Description

  1. Develop and drive the overall strategy for our API platform and developer tools, in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success, to gather requirements and prioritize product features.
  4. Define product roadmaps and timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  5. Lead the process of defining and documenting product requirements and user stories.
  6. Work closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility and provide guidance on technical aspects of the product.
  7. Continuously monitor and analyze performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and drive product enhancements.
  8. Communicate product updates, progress, and success to stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and customers.
  9. Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch support, ensuring a seamless and successful customer experience.
  10. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and standards related to APIs and developer experience, and integrate them into product strategy and roadmap.
  11. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing them with direction, support, and resources to help them excel in their roles.
  12. Represent FIS at industry events and conferences, showcasing our API platform and developer tools and networking with potential partners and customers.
  13. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  14. Uphold the company's values and culture, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Continuously monitor and adhere to product management best practices and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in product development and delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Background: A Product Manager For Apis & Developer Experience At Fis Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Software Development And Apis, With Experience In Coding And Programming Languages.

  • Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In The Technology Industry. This Includes Defining Product Strategy, Creating Roadmaps, And Working With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Api Market Trends: Fis Operates In A Highly Competitive Market, And The Product Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Developments In The Api Space. This Includes Knowledge Of Emerging Technologies, Industry Standards, And Competitor Offerings.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: As A Product Manager, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Focus On Customer Needs And Experience. This Includes Conducting Market Research, Gathering Feedback From Customers, And Using Data To Drive Product Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Product Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Developers, Engineers, Sales Teams, And Upper Management. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role.
