Principal Cloud Engineer - Microservices, Akamai & Fastly

Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Cloud Engineer - Microservices, Akamai & Fastly to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the cloud engineering team and developing and maintaining a secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environment.We are seeking a professional who is knowledgeable in developing and deploying microservices in the cloud, as well as a deep understanding of Akamai & Fastly. You should be a self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills and have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:• At least 8 years of experience in developing and deploying microservices in the cloud• Expert knowledge of Akamai & Fastly• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining an automated continuous delivery pipeline• Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP• Knowledge of secure coding best practices• Good understanding of container orchestration technologies such as Docker & KubernetesIf you are a passionate and driven individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work, we would love to hear from you.

8. Monitor container orchestration technologies such as Docker & Kubernetes.
