- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using Cobol, VSAM, JCL, and CICS.

Proficiency In Cobol Programming Language: As A Mainframe Developer At Fidelity National Information- Fis, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Cobol Programming Language. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Its Syntax, Features, And Capabilities.
Experience With Vsam: The Job Of A Mainframe Developer At Fis Involves Working With Large Volumes Of Data Stored In The Virtual Storage Access Method (Vsam) Format. Therefore, Experience With Vsam And Its Associated File Structures Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.
Knowledge Of Jcl: Job Control Language (Jcl) Is Used To Execute Programs And Jobs On Mainframe Systems. A Mainframe Developer At Fis Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Jcl And Its Various Commands And Statements To Successfully Manage And Run These Jobs.
Familiarity With Cics: Customer Information Control System (Cics) Is A Transaction Processing System Used In Mainframe Environments. The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Hands-On Experience With Cics, Including The Ability To Design, Develop, And Troubleshoot Cics Applications.
