IT Architect (Hadoop Admin)

Fidelity National Information- FIS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced IT Architect (Hadoop Admin) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Hadoop clusters across a variety of projects and initiatives. We are looking for someone with a strong background in IT architecture, a deep understanding of Hadoop, and a passion for using technology to solve complex problems.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Hadoop administration. You should also have strong hands-on experience in using and troubleshooting Hadoop components such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HBase, Zookeeper, and Oozie. Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain Hadoop clusters across various projects and initiatives.
2. Ensure high-performance, large-scale clusters are set up and managed correctly.
3. Troubleshoot and use Hadoop components such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HBase, Zookeeper, and Oozie.
4. Develop scripts for Bash, Python, Shell, and Java.
5. Stay up to date with latest developments in Hadoop and IT architecture.
6. Monitor performance of Hadoop clusters and make necessary adjustments.
7. Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.
8. Document all changes, configurations, and maintenance activities.
9. Develop recommendations for improvements and process enhancements.
10. Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
