As an IBM Cloud Pak Engineer at FIS, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our cloud transformation initiatives using IBM Cloud Pak technologies.   1. Design and implement cloud transformation initiatives using IBM Cloud Pak technologies.
  2. Collaborate with team members to identify and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Configure and deploy IBM Cloud Pak solutions to meet business needs.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IBM Cloud Pak technologies.
  5. Maintain and support existing IBM Cloud Pak environments.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest IBM Cloud Pak updates and releases.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of IBM Cloud Pak solutions.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation for IBM Cloud Pak solutions and processes.
  9. Participate in the testing and validation of new IBM Cloud Pak solutions.
  10. Collaborate with other technology teams to integrate IBM Cloud Pak solutions with other systems.
  11. Train and support end users on IBM Cloud Pak technologies.
  12. Continuously learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the financial services industry.
  13. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security standards.
  14. Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and management.
  15. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience With Ibm Cloud Pak: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Ibm Cloud Pak And Its Components Such As Red Hat Openshift, Kubernetes, And Ibm Middleware Products.

  • Proficiency In Devops And Automation: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Devops Principles And Hands-On Experience With Automation Tools Such As Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Infrastructure: As An Ibm Cloud Pak Engineer, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Infrastructure, Including Networking, Storage, And Security In A Hybrid Cloud Environment.

  • Familiarity With Agile Methodologies: Fis Follows Agile Methodologies, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment And Be Comfortable With Continuous Integration And Delivery.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Cloud Pak Engineer, You Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Solving Complex Technical Issues. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Think Critically To Find Solutions.
