  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive public policy strategy for Fidelity National Information- FIS at the federal, state, and local levels.
  2. Research and monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the financial services industry and proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advocate for FIS's interests and influence policy decisions.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and data to inform policy positions and messaging.
  5. Represent FIS at industry events, conferences, and other public forums to promote our public policy agenda and raise awareness of our company.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and other materials to educate policymakers and stakeholders on relevant issues and FIS's perspective.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for public policy initiatives and advocacy efforts.
  8. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in public policy and financial services to inform FIS's strategy.
  9. Monitor and track legislative and regulatory activities and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of public policy professionals to achieve department goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Us Public Policy And Regulatory Landscape: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Us Political And Regulatory Environment, Including Key Issues And Stakeholders Related To The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Advocacy And Lobbying Skills: As A Director Of Us Public Policy, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Advocating Fis's Interests To Government Officials And Regulatory Bodies. Strong Advocacy And Lobbying Skills Are Essential For Effectively Communicating And Influencing Policy Decisions.

  • Experience In Financial Services Industry: The Role Requires A Strong Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry, Including Trends, Challenges, And Opportunities. Previous Experience Working In The Industry, Particularly In A Policy Or Government Relations Role, Would Be Highly Beneficial.

  • Leadership And Strategic Thinking: The Director Of Us Public Policy Will Be Responsible For Leading Fis's Public Policy Initiatives And Developing Strategic Plans To Advance The Company's Goals. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically.

  • Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Abilities: This Role Will Involve Interacting With A Wide Range Of Stakeholders, Including Government Officials, Industry Associations, And Internal Teams. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills To Effectively Represent Fis's Interests And Build Strong Partnerships.
