- Design and implement Kubernetes and Openshift solutions to support our clients' financial technology needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, maintain and troubleshoot Kubernetes and Openshift platforms.
- Develop and maintain automation processes for deployment and configuration of Kubernetes and Openshift environments.
- Monitor the performance and availability of Kubernetes and Openshift clusters to ensure smooth operations.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and Openshift platforms.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Kubernetes and Openshift to continuously improve our solutions.
- Work closely with developers to streamline the development and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Kubernetes and Openshift environments, including best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes and Openshift, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency support when necessary.
- Continuously improve and optimize the performance and scalability of Kubernetes and Openshift platforms.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates and status reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills in Kubernetes and Openshift.
Proficiency In Kubernetes And Openshift: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Experience In Using Kubernetes And Openshift For Containerization And Orchestration Of Applications.
Strong Knowledge Of Devops Principles And Practices: The Devops Engineer Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Devops Culture, As Well As A Strong Foundation In Automation, Continuous Integration, And Continuous Delivery.
Experience With Cloud Computing: Fis Utilizes Cloud Computing For Their Services, So The Candidate Should Have Experience With One Or More Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Google Cloud, Or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity With Agile Methodologies: Fis Follows An Agile Methodology For Software Development, So The Candidate Should Be Familiar With Agile Principles And Practices, Including Scrum And Kanban.
