- Maintain and optimize Oracle databases: The senior DBA will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of our Oracle databases by regularly monitoring and optimizing their performance.
- Ensure security of databases: The DBA will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our databases by implementing security protocols, conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and performing backups and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues: The senior DBA will be expected to have a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve any database issues that may arise in a timely manner.
- Monitor database performance: It will be the responsibility of the DBA to regularly monitor database performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the databases.
