We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel, Litigation to join our legal team.   1. Represent the company in various litigation matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, employment disputes, and intellectual property disputes.
  2. Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and advise internal stakeholders on potential risks and outcomes.
  3. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with outside counsel and manage their work on assigned matters.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal business units, to gather relevant information and evidence for litigation matters.
  6. Monitor and report on the progress of litigation matters, providing updates and recommendations to senior management as needed.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide litigation policies and procedures.
  8. Stay current on industry and legal trends, regulations, and laws related to financial services technology to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
  9. Conduct internal investigations and provide advice and guidance on potential legal issues.
  10. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties, including clients, opposing counsel, and judges.
  11. Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  12. Assist in managing and maintaining the company's litigation budget.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all aspects of the job.
  14. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures related to litigation matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • Admitted To Practice Law In At Least One State.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Litigation, Preferably In A Corporate Or Law Firm Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Corporate Legal Matters And Ability To Provide Proactive Legal Counsel.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Problem-Solving Skills.
