3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements, and develop category strategies that meet their needs while also driving cost savings for the company.
4. Lead supplier relationship management activities, including conducting regular business reviews, monitoring supplier performance, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
5. Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with key suppliers, industry experts, and other relevant stakeholders to stay informed of market trends and innovations.
6. Continuously monitor and analyze the Business Products & Services category, identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
7. Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sourcing activities.
8. Develop and present reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing updates on category performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.
9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in procurement, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations within the Business Products & Services category.
10. Mentor and support other members of the procurement team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive overall departmental success.
