
Business Continuity Vendor Risk Manager

- Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure the organization is prepared for potential disruptions in vendor services.
- Identify potential risks associated with vendor relationships and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence on potential vendors to ensure they meet the organization's risk management standards.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual agreements and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement risk mitigation strategies, as well as to develop and maintain business continuity plans.
- Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to risk management and business continuity to ensure the organization remains compliant.
- Communicate with vendors to address any risk-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of vendor risks and business continuity plans.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors to provide necessary information and documentation related to vendor risk management and business continuity.
- Train and educate employees on risk management protocols and procedures to promote a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all vendor contracts and agreements are in compliance with organizational risk management policies and procedures.
Experience In Risk Management: This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment, Analysis, And Mitigation Strategies, As Well As A Track Record Of Successful Risk Management In A Corporate Setting.
Knowledge Of Vendor Management Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Vendor Management, Including Contract Negotiation, Performance Monitoring, And Risk Assessment Practices.
Business Continuity Planning Experience: A Business Continuity Vendor Risk Manager Should Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Business Continuity Plans, As Well As Experience In Testing And Updating These Plans.
Strong Communication Skills: As This Role Involves Working With Both Internal And External Stakeholders, Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To A Variety Of Audiences.
