Associate General Counsel
Fidelity National Information- FIS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who is committed to upholding the highest legal standards, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and is driven to successfully manage legal matters for the company.The successful candidate will be a licensed attorney with at least 6 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal setting. We are looking for an individual who is committed to the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity, is a team-oriented collaborator, and has a strong understanding of the legal implications of business decisions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the highest legal standards and act with utmost integrity in all legal matters.
- Provide advice and counsel to FIS business teams in all legal matters.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team and manage legal projects.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
- Analyze legal implications of business decisions and provide practical advice.
- Monitor legal developments and stay up to date on emerging legal trends.
- Manage relationships with outside legal counsel and other external parties.
- Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
- Manage litigation and other legal proceedings.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Juris Doctorate Degree From An Accredited Law School
Active Membership In Good Standing With The Bar Of At Least One Us State
Extensive Knowledge Of Corporate And Securities Laws
Experience Working In A Corporate Legal Setting
Ability To Plan And Organize Complex Legal Matters
