  1. Design, develop, and maintain APIs and user interfaces for financial software products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create technical solutions.
  3. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of APIs and user interfaces.
  4. Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API and UI development.
  6. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Implement and maintain coding standards and guidelines.
  8. Work closely with product managers and designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  9. Continuously improve and optimize existing APIs and user interfaces.
  10. Document technical specifications and changes made to APIs and user interfaces.
  11. Keep track of project progress and meet deadlines.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the development process.
  13. Identify and propose solutions for potential roadblocks or challenges.
  14. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality guidelines.
  16. Mentor and train junior developers on API and UI development best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: A Qualified Api/Ui Developer At Fis Should Have A Strong Command Over Programming Languages Such As Java, Javascript, Python, Etc. As They Will Be Responsible For Developing And Maintaining Apis And User Interfaces.

  • Knowledge Of Api Development And Integration: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Api Development Principles And Be Able To Integrate Apis With Different Systems And Platforms.

  • Experience With Front-End Development: As An Api/Ui Developer, The Candidate Must Have Experience With Front-End Development Using Html, Css, And Javascript To Create User-Friendly And Visually Appealing Interfaces.

  • Familiarity With Web Services And Restful Apis: Fis Deals With A Large Amount Of Data And Relies Heavily On Web Services And Restful Apis. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Working With These Technologies.

  • Understanding Of Security Protocols: As Fis Deals With Sensitive Financial Data, Security Is Of Utmost Importance. The Api/Ui Developer Should Be Well-Versed In Security Protocols And Best Practices To Ensure The Safety And Integrity Of The Systems And Data.
