  1. Develop and lead the overall data engineering strategy for Fidelity Investments, with a focus on driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
  2. Build and manage a high-performing team of data engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to successfully execute on projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
  4. Drive the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems to support the collection, processing, and analysis of large and complex datasets.
  5. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of all data assets, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and tools in the data engineering field, and make recommendations for their adoption and integration into existing systems.
  7. Monitor the performance of data engineering projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the data engineering team, providing mentorship and support for professional development.
  9. Act as a key leader and advocate for data-driven decision making across the organization, promoting the value and importance of data engineering.
  10. Collaborate with senior leadership to define and track key performance indicators and metrics related to data engineering, and report on progress and impact to stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Data Engineering, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Quantitative Finance And Investment Strategies.

  • Extensive Experience In Managing And Analyzing Large, Complex Datasets Using Tools Such As Sql, Python, And Hadoop.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Innovative Data Engineering Solutions To Drive Business Growth And Improve Operational Efficiency.
