  1. Provide legal counsel and guidance to business units and clients on a wide range of legal matters related to the financial services industry.
  2. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and initiatives.
  3. Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  4. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  5. Advise on legal risks and potential impacts on the business.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  7. Communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-legal colleagues.
  8. Collaborate with other legal team members to manage and mitigate legal risks.
  9. Stay current with industry developments and changes in laws and regulations.
  10. Lead and participate in projects and initiatives related to legal compliance and risk management.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide training to internal teams on legal matters.
  12. Manage outside counsel and legal expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  13. Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes and procedures.
  14. Uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all interactions.
  15. Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.

  • At Least 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In A Corporate Or Financial Services Setting.

  • Admission To The State Bar And In Good Standing.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Securities Laws, Financial Regulations, And Corporate Governance.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Provide Legal Guidance And Advice To Senior Management And Business Teams.
