Job Description

Are you a highly skilled data analyst with a passion for using data to drive strategic decision-making? Do you have experience in the financial services industry and a strong understanding of personalized planning and advice platforms? Fidelity Investments is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and provide support to our personalized planning and advice platform. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analytical skills to help drive the success of our platform and ultimately, improve the financial well-being of our clients.   1. Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making for our personalized planning and advice platform.
  2. Utilize technical skills and knowledge of financial services industry to effectively analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  4. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics and monitor platform success.
  5. Continuously monitor and evaluate platform data to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis to ensure the platform remains competitive and meets the needs of clients.
  7. Identify and troubleshoot data issues and work with IT team to resolve them.
  8. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through data validation and quality control processes.
  9. Train and mentor junior data analysts to develop their skills and contribute to the success of the team.
  10. Contribute to the development and enhancement of data management and analysis processes and tools.
  11. Participate in project planning and execution to support the growth and evolution of the personalized planning and advice platform.
  12. Uphold and promote data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  13. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions to support their goals.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert for data analysis and provide guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  15. Continuously strive for personal and professional growth and development to stay at the forefront of data analysis and drive the success of the platform.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Quantitative Field Such As Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Or Economics.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Analysis, Preferably In Financial Services Or Investment Management.

  • Expertise In Data Mining, Data Manipulation, And Statistical Analysis Using Tools Such As Sql, Python, R, Or Sas.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets, Investment Products, And Client Needs.

  • Experience With Personalized Planning And Advice Platforms, Including Portfolio Construction And Optimization, Risk Management, And Backtesting Strategies.
