  1. Conduct thorough analysis of defined benefit plans to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, and develop solutions to enhance business processes.
  3. Design and implement technology solutions to streamline the processing of retirement plans and improve client experience.
  4. Ensure accuracy and efficiency of defined benefit plan processing through regular audits and quality checks.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to defined benefit plans, and make recommendations for necessary updates or changes.
  6. Train and provide support to team members on new systems and processes.
  7. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely and accurate resolution to any issues.
  8. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to defined benefit plans.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the success and effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  10. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans for the Defined Benefit team.
  11. Participate in meetings and presentations to share updates and recommendations with stakeholders.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on defined benefit plans and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all processes and procedures.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Defined Benefit Plans: A Principal Systems Analyst At Fidelity Investments Must Have Extensive Experience And Expertise In Defined Benefit Plans, Including Their Design, Administration, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Identify Potential Issues, As Well As Propose Effective Solutions To Improve System Functionality And Efficiency.

  • Technical Proficiency: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Technology And Systems Used In The Defined Benefit Space, Such As Pension Administration Systems, Data Management Tools, And Reporting Applications.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Principal Systems Analyst, One Must Be Able To Effectively Manage Projects And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Implement System Enhancements And Upgrades.

  • Communication And Leadership Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams And External Clients. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Technical Information And Driving Project Success.
