  1. Lead the development and implementation of innovative and advanced data solutions for the organization.
  2. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quantitative researchers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, and identify opportunities for incorporating new technologies and techniques into the organization.
  5. Take ownership of complex data projects, from planning and design to execution and delivery, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  6. Develop and maintain technical standards, processes, and best practices for data engineering within the organization.
  7. Ensure data security, integrity, and accuracy by implementing proper data governance and quality control measures.
  8. Proactively identify and address any technical issues or roadblocks that may arise during project execution.
  9. Communicate project updates, progress, and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the data engineering team.
  11. Represent the organization at industry events and conferences, promoting our data engineering capabilities and thought leadership.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on data engineering, providing guidance and support to other teams and departments as needed.
  13. Develop and manage budgets for data engineering projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Data Engineering, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Quantitative Data Analysis And Modeling Techniques, With A Strong Understanding Of Financial Markets And Investment Strategies.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql, As Well As Experience With Data Visualization Tools.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
