  1. Develop and implement data-driven strategies and solutions to support quantitative research and trading strategies.
  2. Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive their growth and development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quantitative researchers, traders, and technology teams, to identify and address data needs and challenges.
  4. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure efficient and accurate data processing.
  5. Monitor and analyze data quality and performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to constantly improve and optimize data processes and systems.
  7. Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of data solutions.
  9. Develop and maintain documentation and best practices for data engineering processes.
  10. Utilize a deep understanding of financial markets and investment management to inform data strategies and solutions.
  11. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data engineering team.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes, tools, and systems to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and policies.
  14. Represent the company and its values in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Mathematics, Or A Related Field.

  • Extensive Experience (At Least 8-10 Years) In Data Engineering, Preferably In The Financial Industry.

  • Strong Technical Skills In Sql, Python, And Other Programming Languages Commonly Used In Data Engineering.

  • Experience Leading And Managing A Team Of Data Engineers, Including Setting Strategic Direction And Providing Mentorship And Guidance.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Quantitative And Statistical Analysis Techniques, As Well As Data Modeling And Data Warehousing Principles.
