- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and ensure our products remain competitive and cutting-edge
- Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the success and impact of our developer experience products
- Manage a team of product managers and developers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of products
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on product progress and gather feedback
- Work closely with the design team to ensure a user-centric approach in product development
- Continuously gather and analyze feedback from developers to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in developer experience to inform product strategy and development
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our developer experience products and network with potential partners.
Extensive Experience In Product Ownership: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Ownership, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Product Development Lifecycle And Possess The Ability To Drive Product Vision And Strategy.
Technical Background: A Strong Technical Background Is Crucial For This Role, As The Director, Developer Experience Product Owner Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Development And Enhancement Of Fidelity's Developer Tools And Platform. The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Software Development Processes, Coding Languages, And Emerging Technologies.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Developers And Product Managers. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Projects On Time And Within Budget.
