  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Lead a team responsible for defining and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and data owners, to identify data needs and requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Establish and maintain a data governance framework, including data standards, data quality controls, and data management processes.
  • Monitor data usage and quality across the organization, and proactively identify and address any issues or inconsistencies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data strategy and governance, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to support data strategy and governance initiatives.
  • Communicate data strategy and governance updates and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the data strategy and governance budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Represent the organization in industry events and conferences to showcase our data strategy and governance practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to ensure data practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to improve data strategy and governance capabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Data Science, Computer Science, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Data Strategy And Governance, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Data Management Principles, Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Proven Leadership Skills With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop A Team.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities With A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Drive Business Results Through Data-Driven Decisions.
