  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage risk management team, ensuring efficient and effective risk management processes are in place.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability in the company's brokerage operations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends and developments to identify potential risks and make proactive recommendations to mitigate them.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to brokerage risk management.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry experts.
  9. Prepare and present reports to senior management on risk management activities, including key risk indicators and mitigation strategies.
  10. Continuously review and improve risk management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Conduct training and educational sessions for employees on risk management and promote a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
  12. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation as required.
  13. Lead the response to any risk incidents or breaches, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  14. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to risk management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans accordingly.
  15. Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on brokerage risk management, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
