- Conduct thorough analysis of potential counterparties to assess their creditworthiness and potential risk to the company and clients' investments.
- Monitor and evaluate the creditworthiness of existing counterparties on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate and collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to obtain necessary information and make informed credit decisions.
- Develop and maintain credit risk models and tools to assist in the evaluation process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions that may impact the credit risk of counterparties.
- Prepare and present credit risk reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Implement and maintain credit risk policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to assess potential impact on credit risk.
- Identify and mitigate potential credit risks through proactive monitoring and risk management strategies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all credit agreements and contracts are in line with company policies and regulations.
- Provide training and support to junior team members on credit risk analysis and management.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages diversity and innovation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the credit risk assessment and management process.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and security protocols when handling sensitive information.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Bachelor's Or Advanced Degree In Finance, Accounting, Economics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Credit Analysis, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Counterparty Risk And Credit Risk Management Principles.
Proficiency In Financial Modeling And Analysis, With Experience In Assessing Creditworthiness And Assigning Credit Ratings.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Credit Analysis To Senior Management And Clients.
