Job Description

The Federal-Mogul team is seeking a Global EHS Programs Director who will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive global environmental, health and safety (EHS) program. This individual will be an integral part of the Federal-Mogul Corporate EHS team and will serve as a key resource to the business units, providing guidance on EHS regulations, training, and program development.The ideal candidate will possess a passion for EHS, have strong leadership skills, and be experienced in the development and implementation of global EHS programs. We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized and has the ability to think strategically and analytically. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.To excel in this role, we are looking for the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related field• A minimum of 10 years of EHS experience in a global manufacturing environment• Experience creating and implementing global EHS programs• Proven ability to develop and implement EHS training programs• Expertise in EHS regulations and standards• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams• Excellent communication and organizational skillsIf you have the qualifications we are looking for and are passionate about Environmental Health and Safety, then this role may be for you! Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive global environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs.
  2. Provide guidance to business units on EHS regulations, training, and program development.
  3. Lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  4. Develop and implement EHS training programs.
  5. Monitor and ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards.
  6. Maintain knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
  8. Think strategically and analytically.
  9. Monitor and report on EHS performance.
  10. Develop and implement programs to reduce environmental impact.
