
Transportation Finance Specialist
We are searching for an experienced and motivated Transportation Finance Specialist to join the Federal Highway Administration team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expertise on a wide range of financial and management issues related to the administration of highway-related programs. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze budgets and financial data related to the administration of highway-related programs.
- Develop financial strategies and plans to ensure efficient use of funds.
- Prepare and review financial reports and documents related to the administration of highway-related programs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the financial management of highway-related programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze and evaluate financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Provide guidance and support to other staff members regarding financial matters.
- Assist with the preparation of grant applications and other documents related to the financing and funding of highway-related programs.
- Develop and maintain databases and other information systems related to the financial management of highway-related programs.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Finance
Economics Or Related Field
Possess Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles
+ Years Of Experience In Transportation Finance
