Job Description

The Federal Highway Administration is looking for an experienced and passionate Survey Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out surveys and providing accurate data for our projects. To be successful in this position, you must have a good understanding of surveying principles and techniques, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret and analyze survey data. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct surveys for the Federal Highway Administration and provide accurate data.
  2. Utilize surveying principles and techniques to complete assignments.
  3. Interpret and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in survey data.
  5. Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents related to survey data.
  6. Develop and implement surveying procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  7. Maintain and update survey data records.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  10. Remain up-to-date on changes in surveying technology and best practices.
