We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Realty Specialist to join the Federal Highway Administration team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable in realty principles and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise and support in all aspects of realty services to ensure the mission, goals and objectives of the Federal Highway Administration are met.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in real estate, real estate law, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in real estate. In addition, they must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expertise and support in all aspects of realty services to ensure the mission, goals and objectives of the Federal Highway Administration are met.
  2. Handle and manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, appraisals, relocations, and disposal of real property.
  3. Negotiate and execute real estate contracts in accordance with Federal law.
  4. Monitor and track progress of realty projects and coordinate with other departments.
  5. Develop and implement plans to ensure the effective utilization of real estate.
  6. Research and analyze real estate trends, laws, and regulations.
  7. Prepare real estate reports and documents.
  8. Maintain records of real estate transactions.
  9. Ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local real estate laws and regulations.
  10. Provide guidance and assistance to customers and other departments.
