
Construction Control Inspector
The Federal Highway Administration is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Control Inspector to join our team and ensure that all public works projects are completed to our standards. This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of construction control, safety regulations, and the ability to enforce them. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently. Responsibilities:
- Monitor progress of public works construction projects to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards set by the Federal Highway Administration.
- Perform detailed inspections of construction sites and equipment to ensure that all safety requirements are met.
- Ensure that all materials and methods used are of the highest quality.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to management on the progress of construction projects.
- Maintain up-to-date records of inspections and findings.
- Create and enforce corrective action plans when needed to ensure compliance and safety.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective project completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and other stakeholders.
