In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading all company messaging, branding, and public relations initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and other departments across the organization. Our ideal candidate has a passion for sports, retail, and technology with strong business acumen and a proven track record of success. We’re looking for an experienced leader with an extensive background in corporate communications and public relations, including a mastery of both traditional and digital PR tactics. Our VP, Communications should be a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the Fanatics brand. You should be an excellent communicator with the ability to develop and deliver powerful messaging across multiple channels. Responsibilities:
- Lead the corporate communications and PR strategy for Fanatics
- Develop and deliver powerful messaging across multiple channels
- Work with senior leadership and other departments to ensure alignment on all company messaging and branding
- Develop and execute innovative traditional and digital PR tactics
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the success of all PR initiatives
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Fanatics brand and be able to effectively communicate it to external audiences
- Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers
- Lead the development of press releases, executive presentations, and other materials
- Stay current on industry trends and news to develop strategies for proactively engaging with media and other stakeholders
