Data Engineer

We’re looking for someone with experience in data analysis, ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud computing. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.The successful candidate will have: • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience• Experience working with ETL processes• Hands-on experience with data modeling and data warehousing• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure• Experience working with Big Data technologies, such as Spark or Hadoop• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or R• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data pipelines for Fanatics products.
2. Analyze data to identify trends and patterns to improve business processes.
3. Design and implement ETL processes for new data sources and products.
4. Design and develop data models for data storage and manipulation.
5. Develop and maintain scripts using scripting languages such as Python and R.
6. Utilize cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure to optimize data pipelines.
7. Utilize Big Data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop to process and analyze large datasets.
8. Work closely with other teams to ensure successful implementation of data projects.
9. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and processes.
10. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
11. Remain up to date on industry trends and best practices.
