  1. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential unconventional reservoirs for development.
  2. Utilize advanced engineering techniques and technologies to evaluate the viability and production potential of unconventional resources.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for unconventional resource development.
  4. Continuously monitor and analyze data, production rates, and reservoir performance to optimize production and profitability.
  5. Develop and maintain models for unconventional reservoirs to forecast production and identify potential risks.
  6. Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve recovery and reduce costs in unconventional resource extraction.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends related to unconventional reservoirs and make recommendations for implementation.
  8. Provide technical expertise and support to other departments within the company.
  9. Work closely with drilling and completion teams to optimize well design and completion techniques for unconventional reservoirs.
  10. Mentor and train less experienced engineers to develop their skills in unconventional reservoir engineering.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Unconventional Reservoirs Such As Shale, Tight Gas, And Coalbed Methane.

  • Experience In Reservoir Characterization, Including Petrophysical Analysis And Modeling.

  • Proficiency In Using Industry-Standard Software For Reservoir Simulation And Production Forecasting.

  • Familiarity With Drilling And Completion Techniques Specific To Unconventional Reservoirs, Including Hydraulic Fracturing.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
