Job Description

Exxon Mobil is looking for an experienced, highly-motivated Biofuel/Carbon Trading Analyst to join our team. We are searching for an individual who possesses strong analytical skills, great communication abilities, and the drive to help us achieve our sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the oil and gas industry, and experience in biofuel/carbon trading and analysis. The Biofuel/Carbon Trading Analyst will play a key role in our sustainability efforts by closely monitoring the global biofuel/carbon markets and assessing the impact of biofuel/carbon trading on our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a detailed analysis of global biofuel/carbon markets, as well as making recommendations to improve our trading strategies. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or related field• 3+ years of experience in biofuel/carbon trading analysis• Excellent analytical and communication skills• Knowledge of global energy markets and the oil and gas industry• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Fluency in English, with knowledge of additional languages preferred

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor global biofuel/carbon markets and assess the impact of biofuel/carbon trading on Exxon Mobil's business.
  2. Create detailed analysis of global biofuel/carbon markets and make recommendations to improve Exxon Mobil's trading strategies.
  3. Analyze and interpret data related to biofuel/carbon trading.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk associated with biofuel/carbon trading.
  5. Provide regular updates to senior management on market developments and strategies.
  6. Research and analyze industry trends and opportunities.
  7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of trading activities.
  8. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with biofuel/carbon trading partners.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of new biofuel/carbon trading initiatives.

Compensation
